Happy 15th birthday to Maddie! We had a belated mom/daughter teenage trip FINALLY after two years' delay. We went to La Conner, WA and stayed in a cute hotel... We rode horses in Mount Vernon, and I shared a special book of letters for her that people wrote to her. We celebrated on her special day with birthday pie, and lots of Jellycat fruits and vegetable to add to her collection! And right on schedule, this girl went out and got her drivers' permit. She is creative, thoughtful, full of heart, a maker, a giver, sensitive to other's feelings and full of energetic sass. I love you baby!
