Thanksgiving 2022

We celebrated Thanksgiving this year up at Camano! Every holiday with our extended family is a win in my book, since we missed so much with the pandemic. My mom and dad do such a great job hosting all of us at their cabin (and the neighbor's house next door helps a lot too to house all her kids and grandkids). We took the kids up to the local park/coffee shop, that that was fun for them! Coffee and card games, and racing around with their cousins is still fun, even at their ages. Happy Thanksgiving to all!

End of fall fun

A little wrap up to the fall activities - first and foremost: the dog is still cute. Also, the teenagers are growing up fast (but that doesn't stop them from still piling on a couch together to play video games). Don't be surprised if their faces make it in less photos as the months roll on, because something is in the water with teenagers and picture taking. For the record, to my future (older) children who are reading this as adults. I tried!!!! In other news, our friend turned 40 and we had a hoot together celebrating with bowling and dinner. My bowling injury is mostly healed now, 3 months later. (eye roll). We had "World Cup" day at church, where everyone wore their team jerseys. The funny part is... I wrote the wrong date down, and so we showed up to church as one of three total people with our embarrassing selves on display. Of course, our pastor took a picture. It was good advertising for the next weekend when we were supposed to do this. Ha! I showed up to Motherwise a week later, and discovered I was twinning with my awesome friend Missy. We lead a table together... maybe the new ladies thought we were in a cult where everyone matches. I'm on a roll today! My friend Heather brought me delicious ramen when I was sick, and the rainbow shined through the rain. A perfect metaphor for life!

Happy birthday to moi

I might be squarely middle-aged (which means I'm making it to 92!), but I still love birthdays :) Date night took a month to accomplish, but was well worth it!

Fall Days

Some fun activities this fall: Mom/Max matching to church, Kyle took the boys to their first Timbers soccer game, the girls got their "seconds" pierced, and we snuck out with our boys for some meals out while big sis was at Outdoor School (translation. we ate gluten)

Happy Halloween

Happy Costume Day lol! This year, costumes were completely haphazard. Marin and Max had a plan several months ago, because they love their anime shows and characters. They did not pose for my planned photoshoot (go figure). Marcus decided to reuse items from around the house to be a Jedi, and Maddie invited a friend over to play games and watch a movie! They are all doing their own thing, and Mom and Dad are running to keep up :) Pumpkin carving happened LITERALLY at the 11th hour too... Go us! Still going strong with the celebrations :)

Back to School

A new school year has begun! This time, no masks required. We have felt the effect though, as many of us have already had a ton of colds. I almost forgot this is how it was before Covid. Four kids, three schools! Marin got to serve as a student leader at Outdoor School too! She did amazing. They are off to the races, these Corrigan four. Max is shaving, the girls are learning to drive... What is happening?!?!? Time is going by very, very fast at this point. Holding on to these precious moments!

Family and Friends

A collection of special times with our family and friends! Some very happy (friend's birthdays, a girls weekend) and some sad (Kyle's beautiful Aunt Kay passed away). Kyle made "friends" with the lioness at the zoo (that picture is 100% real). And let's not forget one of Marcus' friends who brought us a wriggling snake to the front door. Nothing is dull in this crazy life!
