Daddy/Daughter date

While home on paternity leave, Kyle took the girls for the day out to the beach. They toured the Tillamook Cheese Factory and tromped around at the beach. He took them out to an oyster lunch (they ARE daring little eaters, my girls) and they had loads of fun!

Marcus: the first two weeks

Here are some random pics of the first couple weeks of life at home with our new babykins! We've had lots of visitors and just love showing our our new little man to friends & family. Fabulous sign is courtesy of our dear friends Steve & Sandie Spotts :)

We kept our tradition (kinda)... Fourth of July matching shirts with our Bellingham cousins! Just a few weeks late :)

Going to the Fair

One of the last days of Kyle's "baby vacation" we decided to venture out with the kids. We were getting restless cooped up at home for 2 weeks :) So we went to the Washington County Fair for a morning of animals, rides and treats. The kids each got one ride ~ the girls chose the huge ferris wheel and Max chose a totally jerky & wild little kids rollercoaster. Mom got to chaperone on both, lucky me! :) It was a fun outing, and the kids had a blast. They could have stayed there all day, Mom & Dad were tuckered out after a few hours... Sleep deprivation does that to ya! It was fun to get out and about, in the real world again!

Happy 3rd Birthday Maddox Keevin

Happy Birthday to my happy boy :) Three years old, and showing every bit of it! The sass is alive and well, as well as the humor, opinions, wide range of voice octaves and best of all - LOVE! Max picked out Froot Loops for his birthday cereal, and enjoyed a mountain of presents, donuts for dessert, his favorite dinner of choice (Mom's tuna casserole, go figure) and lots of love and attention. The girls woke up in the morning and announced "TODAY IS BROTHER's BIRTHDAY... that means we will be nice to him ALL day!" Lucky boy :)  We sure love our little man!
