My favorite sport: FALL SOCCER!

It's that time of year again, time for FALL SOCCER! What could have been a totally, utterly insane schedule of four different soccer teams, ended up being a perfect paring down, as both girls opted out of soccer this fall. Ironically, neither one was tired of playing soccer! Maddie had earring issues that she was not ready to overcome, and Marin opted out because her favorite coach stepped away from coaching. Neither one was quite willing to overcome their issues to make soccer their priority, and that is okay with us :) So, this fall we had two darling boys to cheer on.

Max donned his bright neon yellow jersey to play for the Yellow Jackets this year, with awesome coaches from years past and wild and wonderful group of boys. This year, we noticed how his footwork really improved! Unfortunately, he had a major growing pain stretch during the fall and so his legs were just always hurting. His speed took a hit, but he made up for it in his tricky ball skills. We loved watching this kid play!

And Marcus has waited his entire life to finally get his own soccer team, and wore the red jersey for the Red Rockets. One of our amazing moms stepped in at the final hour, when no coach could be found, and did a phenomenal job inspiring and cheering on a brand new set of 5 year old soccer players. We are already calling Marcus "Little Boomer", taking after his mommy's soccer nickname as a kid. Big kicks and hustle like no other! Boy is his enthusiasm contagious and fun to watch! Where most kids are somewhat tentative when starting out in soccer, he just goes for it like a steam engine. We got SO much entertainment from his team this year, it's almost like we should have paid to see this show! Oh wait, all the parents paid all the money for all the playing, so basically that's what happened ;)

Love watching our amazing boys enjoy soccer and give me thrills as I scream and cheer!
