Tree farm

The hunt continues for a new favorite tree farm. Our old favorite has awesome attractions, but are wiped out of good trees. The farms that have good trees are just not our favorite attractions. We are hard to please apparently :) I'll break it down for you - the main issue is Santa. We can't have some young punk pulling down his fake beard in front of the kids so he can eat his sub sandwich (this happened before). That's just not cool, man. We need real Santa (or someone very convincing). Anyway, we do love our tree this year. Still searching for real Santa. Marcus was going along just fine putting up with fake Santa, and all was on track for this year until a different punk who shall remain nameless (6th grader in Maddie's class) informed Marcus three days before Christmas that Santa wasn't real. We had to have an honest talk. All my kids know if they really want to know the truth, I will tell them. It was a sad day for him right before Christmas. I felt sad for him! Poor buddy had to have a burst bubble at 6 years old. Sweet boy. (Thankfully he got over it pretty quick. Phew.)

All that to say, we have a beautiful tree :)
