Fancy family dinner

Kyle got a very fun award at work recently - money to take his family out to a nice dinner! The kids unanimously voted for Bamboo Sushi (our fave Celiac friendly sushi place in Portland). We took Marin here for her birthday last year, and it's awesome. They don't have a ton of kids there usually, so our crew was kind of a sight to behold. I will brag a little and say our kids know how to rock their good behavior in a restaurant. But still, we stood out in this eatery full of hipsters. The waitress loved Marcus, and especially loved when he flagged her down and chatted her up about the dish he was enjoying (it was some kind of greens with a garnish of pork belly chunks) - he loved the pork and asked if she could please bring him JUST A PLATE OF PORK BELLY TOPPING. Ha ha ha ha! She seemed utterly delighted to make his little Farcus request come true. And she only charged us $1 for his plate of toppings. He kills me. We all had a great time feasting on delicious sushi, fancy drinks, and Petunia's for dessert!
