Camano 2.0

We trekked back up to Camano Island, for one more summer adventure before school starts! This time, sadly, the "dads" had to stay home and work, so it was my parents, me and Jess, and all our wild children together for 5 days. It was AWESOME. The weather was perfect, we spent several hours a day swimming and playing on the beach, and it was just honestly effortless (aside from the immense effort of my parents cooking everything and us moms and our solo parenting, ha!) - but the enjoyment was effortless, and if there is one thing I regularly do before any trip or vacation now, is specifically pray that NOTHING would steal the joy from the experience. And I've seen incredible responses, even if things are hard at times, I'm thankful God always redeems and smooths out the edges. Quarantine is hard, and we are all suffering in our own way. I'm so thankful my family could be together one last time before the seasons change, and our togetherness is uncertain as we head into cold/flu/indoor seasons.
