Merry Christmas 2022

The Christmas season was full of fun. During the kids' two weeks off, we explored the new pinball arcade near us, played in the snow, played board games, served at the Christmas Eve candlelight service for the second year, made cookies, cooked/ate around the clock, delivered secret neighbor gifts (Marcus the ding-dong-ditcher, while I drove the getaway car), a lovely Christmas dinner at Paulette's, Advent, special grandparent visits, aunt/uncle/cousin visits, gift giving, bowling, coffee shop visiting, lots of walks, and just embracing the season. The tension always exists between hectic and bored, people being over and under stimulated, feeling free or feeling cooped up. I sure love all my family, near and far. So thankful to Jesus for these times we have together.
