The four of us got to have an awesome missional experience together, serving with Homes of Hope, in Ensenada Mexico. We built a home for a very deserving family, in only two days! Max and Kyle did this two years ago, and this year Marcus and I joined in too. The boys raised tons of money in donations, and we all got to use our gifts of service and time, to serve on this project together with YWAM. My Spanish even came back, a little! I mostly did painting, shopping to fill the house with supplies, and always enjoying the people. Kyle and the boys did a lot of framing and roofing. We all experienced the love and kindness from the family we served. Mom, Dad and 8 year old son who are working so very hard to improve their circumstances. This home will be a huge step forward in that, and we are so happy for them! We had an excellent team from Evergreen, with every generation represented. What an amazing picture of God's kingdom.
