We had our annual Halloween neighborhood costume party (Kyle wore his dad's Corrigan air force fatigues, and I was a Red Cross nurse! Max the Referee trick-or-treated with his friends, and I handed out king size candy bars for the second year running. We even had a pickleball costume party, where Kyle won a bronze medal! The only bummer was Marcus had emergency surgery two days before Halloween, so he had to miss out all the festivities this year. His amazing friends made him a candy care package at their party, so he would feel included while he recovered. I had an amazing 49th birthday, with a nice dinner out and family celebration (Maddie came home from college for the weekend, yay)!
