Some early summer fun started off with a week at the Corrigan Cabin in Mt Hood - while our hardwood floors got refinished! (A sort-of-slowly-working-on-it-remodel of our kitchen coming soon... what can I say, it's a process)... But step one was the floors, to fix the water damage from our fridge, and new french doors going out to the backyard (the most hair-raising family "project" thus far). More updates on the kitchen as things move along... We had a great week at the cabin - lots of hiking, fishing, alpine slides, ZigZag Falls, Trillium Lake, Alpine Slides, playing games, eating food, watching The Great Escape (a yearly cabin tradition). Lots of fun.
Other fun activities: pickleball (OF COURSE), roller skating at Oaks Park, visiting the baby goat farm (allll the cute baby animals!!!), the girls got their "thirds" pierced, date nights, concerts at the park, pool days, family brunch celebrating our cute freshly minted 21 year old niece, chilling in the yard, a corn-dog-date with my oldest son (we have been dying to try this place, since we really thought it was a money laundering front for a few months), and other exciting experiences ;)
