We had tons of fun watching the kids embrace different sports this spring! Maddie took the biggest leap of all, and tried out for the Liberty softball team. This is with ZERO previous experience playing softball. She attended the winter workouts, at the encouragement of her softball friend (sort of a "I don't want to try out all by myself, so will you do it with me?") which turned into her making the JV team, and having full playing time all season long. Her first hit was a home run. For the love!!!! We are so proud of her, it is ridiculous. She was awarded by the softball program "Most Improved", which was no surprise to me. She worked so hard, and has done so well! 

Marcus played winter basketball. Max and Marcus both played spring soccer... Marcus ALSO played spring/summer Lacrosse, another new sport for our family... We are collecting a LOT of new gear around here.

And don't forget the school Fun Runs, trips to the pool and Marcus' goalie camp with the Portland Timbers. Sports are so much fun!
