For Christmas and her birthday, we decided to give Marin "outings" as gifts. She loves quality time, and this is speaking her language. For Christmas, we gave her a gift of an outing to Wings & Waves waterpark with BOTH Mom and Dad. Sadly, this outing was scheduled and rescheduled several times due to illness, business trips, and unexpected holiday closures. We persisted though, and this summer FINALLY was able to take our baby doll on her date! Another fun opportunity to try out some Celiac friendly establishments in Portland, and we hit the JACKPOT with Bamboo Sushi and Petunia's for dessert. This girl was WOW'ed, and still hasn't stopped talking about both places. I'm so thankful there are so many great choices for her in this town!
First, Wings & Waves for swimming, sliding, climbing, floating
Then, Bamboo Sushi for dinner, where the sushi chef created anything she wanted on a fresh slab with fresh utensils and uncontaminated ingredients. He was amazing! She is still begging for more Sashimi.
Finally, Petunia's Pies & Pastries for dessert, where we bought several delicious treats "to go" since they were closing right when we got there... DELICIOUSNESS
Love time with our sweet and HEALTHY girl!
