On our way north to our annual 4th of July trip to Camano Island, we stopped by and visited Great Nana & Great Papa in Burien... The kids and I have been to visit various other times, but it has probably been two years since the six of us came all together to see them Of course, Papa and Kyle had to share a scotch, and the kids got cookies & juice, and play with their stash of toys they STILL keep around. I got to meet their weekend caregiver (also named Lisa) and got a photo-op out on the deck next to their growing tomatoes! Praying my grandparents through the final season of their life, that it may have purpose and peace.
